Description

This Parsha brings us to the final selection in Sefer Bereishit - the selection between Yaakov and Esav. We examine the identities of these two individuals as described in the beginning of the Parsha, revealing how Yaakov is the embodiment of emet (truth) and Esav is the embodiment of sheker (lies). We then explore how this struggle to distinguish and select between emet and sheker follows us through history and into the long exile of Edom that we as Benei Yisrael still exist within today.
