Shiur given L'iluy Nishmas Gavriel ben Eidel (R' Ari's grandfather), the first shiur in a weekly series given to English speaking community of Bar-Ilan University and Givat Shmuel, the shiur compares and contrasts Noach's approach towards the world around him and his responsibility towards it, with Avraham's approach. The discussion centers around the vision of God being a very broad, diverse one, as opposed to narrow and close minded - indicated by Noach's three sons and Avraham being called the father of many nations.
