For Parshas Va'eschanan and Parshas Re'eh we will analyze why the repetition of the Lav of לא תוסיפו, enjoining changing or adding to the 613 Mitzvos. We seek to establish that there are two categories of Lo Tosifu. The Ramban & the Gra seem to assume so. They lead us to a Parsha in Melachim that reveals the clever use of Peshuto shel Mikra by Yeravam ben Nevat, the wicked but brilliant King of Israel.
