We will study some of the insights of the Tolner Rebby into Parshas Pinchas & Parshas Matos. This shiur ended abruptly (as we were called out for an important mitzva). The issue addressed here: should one care about what the maligners are saying about him? We will see that Dovid HaMelech was concerned with fabrications about him, and Hashem added His Name to the names of the families of Israel to negate the false fabrications about the lineage of the families of Israel. Why should anyone care? The Gemorah speaks about how one should respond to his being called a חמור, but why should I care? This shiur will continue with part II.
