Description

We wonder why Parshas Matos begins with an allusion to the high level of Moshe Rabenu in contrast to that of other Nevi'im. We will study the insights of the Chizkuni for Parshas Matos al pi Peshuto shel Mikra. Our goal is to grasp the unique prophecy of Moshe & his special role in the Parsha of Nedarim. The Chizkuni quotes the verse that indicates that Hashem implements the will of His Tzaddkim. How does that apply to the greatest of all the servants, namely, Moshe Rabenu? We will study the source for the critical Halacha of Hataras Nedarim. It is Moshe who reveals & establishes this fundamental principle. At the end of this shiur we will discuss the difference between a 'Sefer Megilla' and a "Sefer Torah'.
