This Shiur explores an important letter of Rav Hutner about how one should live a "broad life", finding a certain kind of value in secular careers. We attempt to contextualize this letter within Rav Hutner's thought based on his writings elsewhere. We then develop the Rav's approach to this issue, based on several of his writings.
