this shiur discusses some themes of general sufering and possible purposes to it, and then moves into a discussion of the holocaust, and whether these reasons hold or not. It then offers an overview of some other suggestions as to how to deal with the holocaust theologically [some which are quite extreme and not usually accepted], and some concluding thoughts.
