Description

The first segment of Parshat Emor introduces the moadim, the holidays, but then reviews Shabbat. By discussing the surprising placement of these psukim, we discover the meaning of different times of the year and the day God created to imbue both creation and olam haba. (Part of HaMidrasha at QC, OU-JLIC's Torah learning program for women at Queens College.)
