The sugya in Masechet Kiddushin 42a-42b addresses the question: how can we derive the principle of שליחות from Kodshim, i.e. the שחיטה of the Korban Pesach, since that is a Shlichus of a partner, i.e. of a member of the Chabura who is slaughtering the korban for himself (not just on behalf of others). Could the Parsha of the division of the Land through the agency of the Princes serve as the basis for שליחות or is this a new principle of זכייה? After all the נשיאים effectuated a קנין even on behalf of the קטנים! The sugya will address the power of an אפוטרופוס appointed by the Beis Din to represent the יורשים קטנים, and the power of B"D to evaluate real estate for payment of debts. Finally how to derive the principle אין שליח לדבר עבירה.
