Description

We begin the @nd Perek of Masechet Kiddushin 41a-b, the sugya deals with the Halachc concept of agency, שליחות. We will learn that in the case of a mitzva one should avoid sending a שליח whenever possible, instead "do it yourself' and enhance the mitzva. The Gemorah tells us about he giants of the Amoraim who would personally prepare the food for Shabbos. The sugya a continues by asking: from where do we derive the principle of שליחות? Three sources are offered: Gittin, Teruma, and Kodshim. Non of these three would successfully serve as the source for שליחות in the other two case.
