We aill study the sugya in Masechet Ketuvot 7b-8a, the subject of whihc is: Defining the nature * purpose of פנים חדשות. Is the goal ריבוי שמחה or to recite the Berachos as a Tefilla on behalf of the bride & groom? Who can qualify as פנים חדשות? Is it possible that somone who was at the Chuppa can yet serve as Panim Chadashos? Do we need P"CH on Shabbos? The remainider f the shiur will focus on understanding the meaning & structure of the Berachos themselves. How many are actually related to this Chatan & Kallah? Why do some begin with a ברוך while others do not?
