Description

This shiur for Parshat Teruma is divided into three parts. Giving that does not uplift. Based upon the Dovev Meysharm we will study the five categories of individuals who give Tzedaka but their gifts are not genuine Teruma, i.e. their giving does not uplift them. In the second topic we will address the q': which is worse, marrying 'out' or stealing? The Chofetz Chaim asks how can the גנב be sold and his Master gives him a שפחה כנענית? The latter would normally be a severe violation of forbidden relations. Finally, is there a מצוה לדורות to create the כלי המשכן? The Torah speaks about the structure of the Mishkan itself as well as the details re: the kelim. Is the latter a Mitzva of עשייה no less than the עשייה of the Mishkan itself?
