Description

In this parsha shiur for Beshalach we will study the statements of Chazal that give us a 'taste' of the wonders of Kriat Yam Suf. The 12 pathways formed by the waters that symbolically represent the unique character of the 12 shevatim. The two shevatim that went down first into the Yam. The Hashgacha Pratit, Divine Providence for each individual human and for the species of animals. The exalted God who vitiates the arrogant warriors. In the second part of this shiur we will learn about the three dimensions of Shirat HaYam: 1) the appreciation of nature as a miracle; 2) the great power of Hashem to cause Mitzrayim to make the critical error of entering the Yam; 3) the comprehension of Divine Providence even during periods of concealment.
