Description

We continue our study of Masechet Berachot 21b & the sugya of Davar SheBikedusha: דבר שבקדושה. We will analyze the Yartzeit shiur delivered by the Rav in honor of his father just 50 years ago today (!) on the 3rd of Shevat תשכ"ו. This shiur is presented in a Sefer called שיעורי הרב which begins with an analysis of the status of the Kedusha recited in U'Va LeTziyon, and continues to analyze the sources for the recitation of Kedusha. According to a number of sources, Kedusha would only be recited on Shabbos, Y"T, Chol HaMoed, Rosh Chodesh & Chanuka. But why? And can we discover a source for our tradition to recite Kedusha even on a weekday in the Sifra in Parshas HaAzinu?
