Description

For Parshat Mikeitz we will address a 3 of q's: One, why the name Menashe? Why would Yosef thank Hashem for causing him to forget the Torah he toiled over in the home of his father Yaakov? Two, the Ramban indicates that Yaakov warns his household against postponing their journey to Mitzrayim to obtain supplies. What motivates Yaakov is his goal to distance his children from the foreign influences of the nations of Yishmael & Esau. Three, why should the speaker avoid giving the command to 'go down'? We will study the insights of the Maharal regarding the significance of choosing the proper language.
