Description

As we have been learning, there is a certain holiness that one receives when he davens in a shul. Rebbe Nosson teaches us that anyone who has a shul in his city, yet doesn't daven there is called a 'Bad Neighbor'. What does this mean? When we are not acting in the way that Hashem asks from us, we create our own enemies telling us that we stole Eretz Yisrael from them. However, when we do good, we are shown Hashem's love for us and it becomes so clear to us. When we don't enter into a shul, it shows that we don't believe in the kedushas yisrael in it. So when we are unfit, the most important thing to do is to connect to a Tzaddik who is constantly in touch with Hashem and his kindness.
