In this shiur we will address the following q's. Why must one feed his animals before he eats himself? Is this DeOraisa or Derabanan? Does it apply to all animals & birds? Does it apply even to other's animals or only to one's own? What comes 1st, feeding one's family or feeding one's animals? Is one permitted to interrupt after his Beracha on food (before he takes a bite) and tell someone to feed his animals? What about liquids? May one drink before taking care of the animals? Why did Rivka offer Eliezer and his company to drink before giving the camels to drink? We will study the relationship between צער בעלי חיים and the obligation to feed one's animals first. We will study the Medrash about Alexander & the story of the Ari zal.
