Description

Rav Yaakov Moshe Charlop said about the question to give away parts of eretz yisrael for peace that it is prohibited and anyone involved in it (whether small or large) is denying his relationship with the land. Moshe wanted to enter eretz yisrael but he couldn't come in at all because he called himself an 'Ish Mitzri'. The fact of the matter is, Moshe was born in Egypt and never stepped foot into the land of Israel, yet he was denied future access because it was like he was denouncing his relationship to the land. How much more so by us. The land is the soul of the Jewish people and the Jewish are the soul of the land. This relationship is something that can not be broken even for potential "peace".
