Description

When thinking about Yom Kippur, most people associate Teshuva with an admittance of one's sins. This is true, however, the way of fitting ourselves into the list of sins we confess to Hashem, is only one way of doing Teshuva. This way can be compared to one who treats each and every individual symptom with a different medicine. The higher and more effective level of Teshuva, is for one to attack and treat the source. Treating the source means for one to put himself on a different floor, Hashem's floor. In this way, the sins will fall away on their own because of how silly they look in the eyes of this "new person" on his new floor. (Rav Eliyah Weintraub)
