Its very hard during these days to not think about everything we did this past year and how much we have away from Hashem and the truth. We feel embarrassed in front of Hashem and we want to do Teshuva. How can we do teshuva in order to be prepared for entering the palace. There are three types of Jews when it comes to Teshuva. Our goal is to be the third way. The one that understands that having a good year is important and having a good 'olam haba' is also great, but the most important thing we need to accomplish and ask for on RH is to build up our connection with Hashem. To fill the holes that were formed in our relationship with our father the past year.
