Description
After a quick review of what we discussed two days ago about a 2nd Kabalas HaTora at the culmination of the ביאור התורה of Sefer Devarim, we will analyze the beginning of Chapter 27 and point out that there seems to be an unnecessary repetition of what came in the previous Chapter. Based on the Shalmei Nachum, we will analyze the issue of the acceptance of the Torah under the coercion of the mountain hanging over their heads, and the validity of the מודעאה which would invalidate the commitment to observe the mitzvot. We will split Ki Tavo into two distinct entities, two episodes. These correspond to the two major periods in Jewish History, and are reflected respectively in the writing the Torah on stone & the Berachot & Klalot of Ki tavo.
