The most important thing for us in this world is to be able to connect to Godliness and Torah even when not learning the texts of the Torah themselves. The tzaddik has the special ability to tap into the Godliness that was created in everything by creation. Before Kabbalas HaTorah, the Torah was in existence but not yet revealed. So how then did they survive? By connecting to the Godliness in all other avodah. Rabbeinu guides us in the way of Hashem and helps us keep going even in what appears to us as rough times.
