Description
For Parshat Ki Tetzei, we will study the Lav (prohibition) of לא ילבש, which enjoins men from wearing women's clothes appearing as a woman, and visa versa when a woman appears as a man. Are there exceptions to this Issur? What if a woman's apparel will serve better to warm his body on a cold day? What about using a mirror to take something out of his eye? May a man appear as a woman on Purim as part of Simchas Purim? Can a man dye his white hairs black? What if this will enhance his chances of landing a job? May a man use a medical cream that will beautify his body? Acne medicine? To what extent is intention an integral condition in this violation? We will see R' Moshe's Teshuva re: taking a pill that will dye his hair.
