Description

Tos' quotes a Yerushalmi that requires two eon the recitation of Hallel at the seder. How do we reconcile this with the Rif who establishes that the mitzva of shofar receives only one beracha despite the fact that the two sets of Tekios are separated by a Hefsek. The only exception is Tefillin which - if there was a hefsek - requires two berachos because tefillin are two mitzvot. We will investigate the possibility that Hallel on Leil HaSeder is not one mitzva but two! We will analyze the relationship between Sippur Yetzias Mitzrayim and Hallel.
