Description
The Mincha Tefilla represents the crescendo of the 3 Tefillos of Shabbos & expresses our belief in the Yom Shekulo Shabbos at the end of days. The 3 Tefillos correspond to the 3 Seudos of Shabbos & we would anticipate that the 3rd Seuda is the apex of the 3 meals & can only be eaten at the time of Mincha. Yet acc to some Poskim it is only the 3rd meal which does not require Pas (bread). Kiddush in the a.m. has no mention of Shabbos & is no more than a ברכת הנהנין. Why? The night Kiddush is strange. On the one hand it expresses 'Kodsho" in the 2nd person, yet 'kodshecha' in Kiddush is in the 3rd person. Why? How does the two-fold nature of עדות reflect itself in the 613 Mitzvot in general, in the Luchos specifically, & in Shabbos as עדות?
