Description

We will highlight 6 of the outstanding Kinos, and attempt to clarify their themes & the meaningful messages they are meant to convey. We have a second list of 6 or more important kinos but we will not have time for them in this presentation. We will speak about the unique role that Hashgacha placed upon the shoulders of the great paytan, R' Elazar HaKalir. We will pinpoint many parts of the kinos that describe (ahead of their time) the horrors of the Nazi Holocaust. The destruction of the centers of Torah learning, the scholars who died at the hands of the enemy al Kiddush Hashem, the loss of King Yosheah, the concept of Hester Panim, Tisha Bav as a Yom Kina, the alienation of the son (Knesses Yisrael) from his father (the Ribono shel olam)
