Description

Pachad Yitzchok 4 Shabbos, Ma'amar #7 explores the significance of the Luchos & the fact that Shabbos is engraved on the Luchos. Why does this reflect the greatness of Moshe? The subject of man's greatness, incorporating as it were all of the universe into his צורת אדם will be demonstrated by man's ability to integrate even the דןמם (innaimate) i.e. the lowest strata of the universal pyramid of existense, into his active service of God. This is demonstrated by the bride who beautifies herself with precious stones. The mirror image is the special Mitzva of Torah for the 24 books of כתבי הקודש which obligates the scholar to read the Holy Words even without understanding. This elevates the דומם of דיבור & leads to Shabbos as מעין עולם הבא.
