Description

Rav Yehuda Amital (1924-2010) – survived the Shoah, fought in the war of independence, founded and led Yeshivat Har Etzion for forty years and sat as a minister in the Israeli government acting as a bridge between religious and secular in the aftermath of the assassination of Yitzchak Rabin. In this shiur I try to describe the intimate relationship between the story of his life and the Torah that he taught focusing first upon his religious teachings and then upon his politics and finally upon his personality and character as an educator.
