Description

When is the latest time for Kriat Shema shel arvis, Amud HaShachar or HaNetz? When is the earliest time for K"S shel shachris, Amud HaShachar or HaNetz? We will analyze the first Beraisa as understood by Tos'. Although universal Layla ends at HaNetz, and all Mitzvot that require Yom must wait until HaNetz, Kriat Shema shel shachar begins with Alos HaShachar. The Rashba objects based on the Mishna in Megilla which establishes that all mitzvos that require Yom can be fulfilled with Amud HaShachar. We will study the view of Rabenu Tam in Yoma that all mitzvot that require Yom & K"S shel shachar as well begin with HaNetz HaChama. We will study the insights of the Rav zatza"l in defining Yom & Layla and apply them to Tos' & Rabenu Tam.
