Description

The difference between man and animal is that animal walks on all fours and in a horizontal fashion so that all the limbs are equal. Man, on the other hand, walks vertically and upright. Their is a hierarchy in the limbs of man where the head (daas) controls the body. But this only happens when man is moving forward, but when he is in a state of sleep, he is comparable to an animal. We go through our lives hoping to have clarity and to see the Godliness in everything but there are times that Hashem hides himself from us and our "da'as" is cloudy. This is the sleepy state of man. During this state we need to scream out to Hashem. A scream of love and hope. We ask Hashem to lift us back up like he does every second. Through this, We Return.
