In our study of the Pachad Yitzchok for Pesach #53, we will study the terrible result of the identification with sin, whether in the life of the Klal or in the life of the individual, when the nation or individual man becomes so overcome by the forces of immorality that the loss is not simply exile from the Land but also being thrust into the clutches & control of the Malchuyos, the King-ships that desire to rule over us. We will learn that there are two dimensions of punishment, exile and subjugation to the nations of the world. The 1st dimension represents the inability of the servant to implement his responsibility to serve his master; the 2nd represents the removal of the status of עבד, the negation of the very essence of the Jew.
