Description

The Rashash establishes that just as אופה is a conditional Melacha, and removing the dough voids the Melacha, so 2 is Melechet Zore'ah a conditional Melacha & if one removes the zera before קליטה he negates the melacha. The Eglei Tal disagrees & establishes Zore'ah as an irreversible Melacha not dependent upon klita. There is an additional issue of great significance: would the Aveiras HaMelacha be complete on Shabbos even if the result in the object takes place only after Shabbos? The Yerushalmi assumes that the baking can take place after Shabbos! This would clinch the equation bet Zoreah & Ofeh; yet the Bavli assumes that if he mistakenly put the dough in the oven & deliberately leaves it to bake, he does not bring a חטאת bec סופו במזיד.
