The Beis Yaakov discusses the transition from Adar and the backwards winter months to Nissan and its forward order. In the winter, we recoil and stick to ourselves but in Nissan, we go out and connect to others and think about more than just ourselves. When the plants start to grow and open up, so too Hashem opens up to us and connects to us in a more revealing way. Hashem comes closer to our level to become one with us. We start to taste the sweetness of the fruit because although it was always there, it is visible in front of us and we are able to feel and sense it. So too during this month we experience and recognize in a deep way all that Hashem does for us. The inners and outers of us become coordinated and aligned.
