Description
In this shiur entitled insights into the Rambam Hilchos Korban Pesach we will offer an introduction to the laws & definitions of the Mitzva of Achilas HaPesach. These insights are based on the Rambam as understood by the Rav zatza"l as recorded by the Sefer Harirei Kedem. We will discuss the Tosefta that establishes that although the Pesach must be eaten before Chatzos, nevertheless the korban does not become Nosar until daybreak. We will analyze the Rashi that entertains the possibility that every Ger would need to bring a Korban Pesach! We will dissect the dispute between the Rambam & the Ramban regarding the nature of the exclusion of ben-Nechar's from the Pesach: is it engendered by the Shem Kodshim or by the Sippur Yetzias Mitzrayim?
