Description

We will kick off our series on the Pachad Yitzchok for Pesach, by studying Ma'amarim 14 &15. In the first Ma'amar we will interpret a verse in Tehillim which is part of our Hallel and derive the answer to the question: why do we desire to continue our praying endlessly? Prayer, beyond expressing our petitions & supplications in order to achieve Divine help, is an end unto itsef, expressing the intimate encounter with the Almighty. In Ma'amar 15 we will study the relationship between Pesach & the power of speech. Why is speech the greatest endowment of man, and why does it express the uniqueness of man as the singular being whose crowning glory is freedom? We will study the composite nature of man that integrates the upper & lower worlds.
