Description

How do we define לילה regarding the reading of the Megilla at night? Is our standard requirement of Tzeis Hakochavim applicable? The Sefer Mikraei Kodesh of the Chief Rabbi of Yerushalayim, records the case of Yerushalayim during the war, when it was impossible to gather the Tzibbur at night, could the Megilla be read before nightfall? Can the Megilla be read in Yerushalayim at a moment that would allow the פרזים to read the Megilla at that very moment outside of Yerushalayim. We will suggest a new definition of Layla that operates for Zechiras Mitzrayim & possibly for Kriat Shema as well where the Torah requires ובשכבך. We will study the insights of the Mishnas Ya'avitz regarding Shehechiyanu by day which was already recited at night.
