Description

We will divide this Mussar shmooze for Parshat Tetzaveh into 3 parts: 1, Bigdei Kehuna & Sha'atnez. We are enjoined from wearing garments made of wool & linen because these are the exclusive possession of the Kohem בשעת עבודה. Only the Kohen can reach the level of imitating the Divine integration of opposing midos, or Rachamim (mercy) and Din (strict justice). Nevertheless, the mitzva of והלכת בדרכיו enjoins us to balance contrary midos. 2, how can we imitate the Mishkan & transform our homes into a Mishkan of Shechina, and imitate the examples of the Avos & Imahos? The mishkan replaces their Ohel. 3rd, how do we define the mitzva of יראת ה'? The Akeida serves as the paradigm of Yirah. There are 2 and 3 categories of fear defined by Ramchal
