Description

What lies at the root of the great controversy regarding Moshe at the sneh when he covered his face rather than beholding the Divine Being? Did Moshe act appropriately? This will depend upon two definitions of the ultimate greatness of man. We will analyze another great controversy: could Moshe comprehend the Divine system of reward & punishment, or is there a piece of the puzzle which is beyond the human grasp? We will investigate the root of this controversy and the issue of the extent & scope of human freedom. Finally we will study the concept of the 'kesher shel tfillin' which Hashem revealed to Moshe in response to Moshe's request to comprehend the Divine essence. Was Avraham the 1st to call HaShem 'Adon', the Master of the universe?
