Description

From a piece in Rav Tzadok M'Lublin, Rebbe discusses how the month of Adar is represented by the letter "kuf" and is the time for one to strengthen himself over his imagination. This illusion is one that he is imitating Hashem in a way that he is like Hashem. This way of imitation is that of the "kuf" (which also means monkey) of impurity. But as we know, man was put on this world to serve Hashem in a true way and to try to emulate his "actions". This imitation is that of the "kuf" of purity and holiness. Sometimes however, one can get caught up in this imagination and will fall. The whole idea of Purim and "v'napochu" (doing the opposite) is to change this "kuf" of impurity to that of purity and then the ultimate redemption will come.
