Description

Moshe tells Pharaoh to let the entire nation of Israel go...and worship God in the desert for three days. But was this ever the intent? Weren't the Jews always planning to leave Egypt and never go back? If so, how could Moshe ask this of Pharaoh? Why would this not be a chilul Hashem? This shiur on the Exodus and Parshat Beshalach was given at a special OU-JLIC Queens College shiur with Rabbi Yair Kahn, head of the Overseas Students Program at Yeshivat Har Etzion.
