Description

We know man is compared to a tree. The fruit are the end result. The branches is the hard work and effort we put in to reach our goals and success. The trunk is the daas and the time we take out to think about our goal and how we will get there. The roots represent the ratzon(desire) caused by the oneg(potential pleasure). Roots are hidden in the ground and give birth to thoughts and daas. BUT WHAT ARE THE LEAVES? Rav Weinberger goes on to explain that the leaves bring about the healing and the leaves represent the 'sichos chulin'. The mundane and weekly things that seem like a waste of time but in essence give complete chiyus(life) to the tree. The importance of trying and believing in Hashem.
