For Parshat Bo we will study the Ramban's insight into the Mitzva of HaChodesh HaZeh Lachem Rosh Chadoshim. Why do the months of the Hebrew calendar year have no names in the Torah but are counted by number? Why does the Ramban compare counting the days of the week to counting the years of Yovel? Why is the mitzva of counting the days of the week combined with the mitzva of reciting Kiddush as one single mitzva in Taryag? What is the relationship between counting the months & remembering Yetzias Mitzrayim, & the Mitzva of Anochi Hashem Elokecha and Kabbalas Ol Malchus Shamayim? Yetzias Mitzrayim is 'Chizuk HaEmuna' & establishes all the fundamentals of our Faith. Ultimately the miracles of the Redemption will replace Yetzias Mitzrayim.
