Description

There are two aspects to Keser; Ratzon (“desire," outer Keser) and Oneg ("delight," inner Keser). Delight transcends all thought. When someone desires something, it seeks fulfillment constantly. Fulfilled, a oneness is achieved between desire and delight. Separation between the person and his desire leads to a greater delight because the opposition builds up the desire. Desire occurs when something acts to prevent it. Something easy to achieve is not true desire - outer Kesser. Opposition is needed to draw out the inner aspect. Delight comes about through reconciliation of the desire and the person, revealing the inner aspect of Keser.
