Description

We will study the Laws of a Cheftza shel Mitzva, an object that was designated for a mitzva, after the mitzva was completed. We will study the Teshuvos of many poskim who address the question of how to define the scope & application of the Issur "Huktza LeMitzvasa". What objects are included in this Issur? What personal benefits are prohibited? Is the Issur an Issur Cheftza or an Issur Gavra? A talis that is worn out, may one throw it into the trash can? What is the din of a shofar or a Menora after the holiday if the object will be used for the same mitzva in a year's time? What constitutes 'bizayon mitzva'? Does a gartel or kittel or a hat used for Tefilla have any status of Issur or Kedusha? What is the din of the sukka boards after Chag
