Description

Some authorities permit washing the entire body in cold water on Shabbos whereas others only permit individual limbs. We can only reach the highest levels by immersing in a mikveh. We can immerse in a mikveh on Shabbos without concern that this may be tikkun keli (repairing a utensil). Arizal urges immersion on Shabbos.
