Description

Concept of dinei kedima (laws of preference) in regard to honoring parents. A woman is meshubad (duty-bound) to her husband and therefore we can not weigh her parents’ honor against her husband’s honor. What is the Halacha in a case where a son is forbidden by his mother to visit his in-laws? Does a son have to listen if his father forbids him to make peace? [This shiur was converted from audio cassette. At about the 30 minute mark, a few seconds of the shiur cannot be heard as the tape switched from side A to side B.]
