Based on R' Itamar Schwartz's teachings on Pesach. Krias Yam Suf is the completion of the redemption from Mitzrayim. Descending into the 49th or 50th level of impurity. Torah is the antidote to the 50th level of impurity, and yet, even with Torah, there are people, some of whom learn Torah, who are stuck in that place. The deeper soul power of "atikah" - which is our ticket out of the deepest impurity. Forty-nine gates of revealed Torah against the 49 levels of tumah. However, our grandparents did not learn pnimius (inner light of) Torah either - so what has changed? Pnimius haTorah is learned much more nowadays - this is not happenstance. A Jew must break through all the barriers that separate him from Hashem - this will allow him to be drawn to Hashem like metal towards a magnet. Unfortunately this works towards the other side too, with attachments, obsession and addiction. The key to connecting to the inner koach (power) is mesirus nefesh (giving ourselves up). Addiction is dveykus (deep attachment) to the klipah (husk / covering). But nowadays, pnimius haTorah is for everybody, and that is the answer to the 50th gate of impurity.
