In these times, we have been able to enter the chamber of the King - the secrets of Torah - in the way that is not the regular way. From the Chalban's sefarim series Tallei Chaim, on Rosh Hashana. The main avodah (work) of Rosh Hashana is tikkun HaMalchus (fixing Kingship), which is sweetening the judgments on the female aspect of creation. When we repair our own personal Malchus, it impacts all of the worlds. It is impossible to influence the upper worlds when bypassing the basic middos (character) work in this lower world. Gaiva (arrogance) is the complete opposite of Malchus. We see how a person is based on their actions, not their words.
