Description

Utilizing an essay from the sefer Mesame'ach Tzion (an explanation of teachings by the Kedushas Levi) by R' Ben-Tzion Appel. Two ways of fighting the yetzer harah (evil inclination). Seichel - understanding what is good and what is right to control our middos (emotions). The ko'ach ([divine] power) of the neshamah (soul). The tradditional nature of the Jewish woman/mother and the Jewish man/father. The Jewish edge - our neshamah. Neshamah and seichel in a woman and man. The ko'ach of neshamah is higher than anything in this world. Chutzpah (audacity) in western and muslim societies. Who determines morality - the particular culture and society, or the Torah?
