Description

From the sefer Ta'am Pesach by Rav Refael Rosenman on Likutei Maharan (Torah 261). Being far is the beginning of coming closer. Creating a new, and better relationshiph with Hashem - exactly AFTER a tremendous nefilah (downfall). Why is the korban Pesach (sacrifice) called avodah (serving Hashem)? Becoming free by becoming Hashem's servants. We are like the moon - we can always start again. If the Rashah (2nd son) is such a rashah (evil person), how come he's still at the Seder? When we sin, we feel as if we have died - like a korban (sacrifice) that has been killed. Every time we want to begin something new in our avodah, put a little something into the pushkah (tzdakah box), because beginnings are very, very difficult.
